It’s a week or so into the style. At this point we are trying to get those baby hairs laid like they were when we got out the chair. Am I right?
So many things can contribute to why the baby hairs are no longer in place. We sweat, we bathe, amongst other activities that could rough these particular hairs we are so obsessive about.
Often times, the stylist is blamed, or the product may not hold as it promised in an advertisement. Whatever the case may be, we just need to know how we can achieve a similiar look.
I get that everyone is not a hairstylist. My clients always say, "I know I will not be able to fix this". I simply calm them and let them know they do not have to try to fix it the exact same way. As I am waving the baby hairs in place, I allow my clients to look in the mirror. I talk them through the process by explaining a few simple steps.

HOW TO LAY BABY HAIRS
Step One:
Section off the fine hairs of the edge line.
Step Two:
Comb fine hairs to the front.
Step Three:
Section off the fine hairs of the edge line into 4-6 inch parts.
Step Four:
Apply any edge control of your choice to one sectioned off part.
Step Five:
With the Edge Comb Brush, smooth fine hairs along the edge of the hair line in a forward-back motion.
Step Six:
Use the end of the Edge Comb Brush to make a circular motion with excess hair from Step Five.
Step Seven:
Repeat Steps Four through Six.
